Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or Smart Metering is a network of water meters, electric meters, endpoint radios, data collectors, and a head end system that provides continuous data. AMI helps customers to save money by optimizing water use and leak detection through analytics, while enabling utilities to anticipate future issues, provide better service, and meet conservation goals.
